The TV Writer Leadership Training Program (LTP) is designed to educate television writers at Producer level or above on best practices for managing writers’ rooms and upholding professional standards in our industry. It covers key strategies for every stage of the television writing process, from staffing and running a room to managing set and post-production. The program also emphasizes fostering healthy and respectful workplace dynamics.

Sessions will be held on consecutive Tuesdays from February 4 through March 11, 2025, 7-9:30 p.m., at the Writers Guild Theater. Light refreshments will be available at 6 p.m. Complimentary parking provided in the adjacent structure. To request a childcare stipend, complete the childcare stipend form available onsite at check-in.

Class 2: THE WRITERS’ ROOM – PART 1 – CREATING THE CULTURE/STAFFING/ROOM ORGANIZATION 
Class 3: THE WRITERS’ ROOM – PART 2 – DAY-TO-DAY BEST PRACTICES
Class 4: THE WRITERS’ ROOM – PART 3 – PITCHING, NOTES, SCRIPTS, DEVELOPMENT
Class 5: PRODUCING THE SHOW/COLLABORATING WITH CREW AND EXECUTIVES
Class 6: POST-PRODUCTION/LEADERSHIP OUTSIDE THE ROOM
