Dear Members,

My fellow members of the Negotiating Committee and I have spent a lot of time in the past few weeks talking to as many of you as we can – hearing your stories and answering your questions. It’s not surprising that certain themes and issues come up, again and again. Some of that is because the agencies have begun to lobby us with a narrative that looks to put a positive spin on their conflicted practices. Some of it is because writers, themselves, are working through all the implications of this change we’re proposing.

It’s in response to those conversations that I’m writing you today. Here are links to a number of new documents that try and address the key questions we hear members asking – and that we have asked ourselves. They’re a bit more in depth on key issues than the FAQ that the Guild sent you. We don’t want to bombard you with information, but we think these will be useful in thinking through the thornier issues in this campaign.

This is only the first batch. There will be more. We see it as just part of the on-going conversation between us and you.

In Solidarity,
Chris Keyser
Negotiating Committee Co-Chair
